Up! for Kids Care – YiJia Canada Summer Charity Barbecue
August 24th, 2019, joining hands with the B.C. Children’s Hospital Foundation, YiJia Canada held the fundraising event Summer Charity Barbecue at the Jericho Beach. This event aimed to raise money for and awareness of children’s health in BC. It’s also on this occasion that YiJia Canada launched its charity program with the B.C. Children’s Hospital Foundation – Up! Kids Care Program.
British Columbia Children’s Hospital, founded in 1923, is a medical facility located in downtown Vancouver, British Columbia. It specializes in children’s health care. It is also a teaching and research facility for children’s medicine. The Sunny Hill Health Centre for Children is also operated by the hospital, and it offers specialized services to children and youth with developmental disabilities.
YiJia Canada successfully has raised CAD 6,000 through the fundraising event, upholding the company’s promise of “charity with love and perseverance.”
