Up! for the Kids

YiJia Canada visiting B.C. Children’s Hospital Foundation

Working with BC Children’s Hospital Foundation, YiJia North America initiated the Up! Kids Care Program to support children’s health and education. To uphold our commitment to “charity with love and perseverance,” we promise to lead our business partners to devote to charity work, fulfilling our vision of spreading and sharing love.  

September 11th, 2019, the staff and members at YiJia Canada including CEO Jessie Ren were invited by BC Children’s Hospital Foundation for an informational tour of the hospital. The group was informed about how the donations and funding have supported the hospital’s research and programs, and how it would help provide children in BC with better medical services. On this occasion, YiJia Canada donated CA$9,055 through the Up! Kids Care Program to the Foundation and we promise to continue our support for children’s health and welfare. 

About the Hospital and the Foundation

BC Children’s Hospital is the only hospital in the province devoted exclusively to the care of children. That means one million kids—including some of the sickest and most seriously injured—count on the hospital for specialized care they often can’t receive anywhere else. Last year, more than 93,000 patients visited the hospital—which not only includes its acute care centre, but also its research institute, mental health facility and rehabilitation centre.  

Since 1982, the Foundation has been working to inspire people and communities to join its quest and raise the bar of children’s health care. In 2018, more than 119,000 people came together to support our cause—generating revenues of over $101.9 million.
